These are just some of the recommended screenings from the US Preventative Services Task Force
 
-Breast Cancer: Mammogram every 1-2 years after age 40, or 10 years prior to a first degree relative (mother or sister) being diagnosed with breast cancer
 
-Cervical Cancer:  Pap smear beginning within 3 years of first sexual activity or age 21, whichever comes first.
 
-Colon Cancer:  Colonoscopy every 10 years starting at age 50.
 
-Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms:  All males aged 65-75 who have ever smoked.
 
-High Blood Pressure:  All adults aged 18 and older.
 
-Cholesterol:  Most adults aged 20 and older.
 
-Chlamydia/Gonorrhea:  All Sexually active women under 24 and those at high risk.
 
-HIV:  All adults and adolescents that are at risk.
 
-Diabetes:  All those diagnosed with high cholesterol or high blood pressure.
 
-Osteoporosis:  All women 65 and older.  Earlier if high risk.
